Glock 19 Gen 5 Reviews - "Glock Perfection®" has been the company name for many years. When Glock released its fifth generation of pistols a few years ago, many people asked why. With the fifth generation, Glock made things a little more perfect. However, this is a bit of an oxymoron. I mean, if it's perfect, can it be even better? That said, I still hear people asking about the differences between the Glock Gen 4 and Gen 5, especially a common favorite: the Glock 19 Gen 5.
The Glock 19 Gen 5 is Glock's flagship handgun offering. While the third and fourth generation Glock 19s are still on the market and often for sale, the Glock 19 Gen 5 is the better model. And for civilians, militaries around the world, and thousands of law enforcement departments in many countries, Glock is often the brand.

While Fifth Generation Glocks and Glock 19 Gen 5s are a few years old, let's take a look at the changes and updates that come with them. When Glock then released the Gen 5, they made over 20 design changes. These changes make Gen 5 an even better option.

Many of the changes and enhancements to the Glock Gen 5 models are minor and cosmetic. In fact, some of these changes may not be apparent at first. However, other modifications offer more reliability, better functionality, and continue to refine and improve what the Glock is known for. To the company's credit, many of these updates and new features are a direct result of customer feedback.
If you are debating whether to purchase a Glock 19 Gen 5, this article is for you.
Among these changes, the most notable and valuable are: the new GLOCK Marksman barrel as a standard feature; improvements to help make triggering even smoother; two-way slide stop levers; and updates to Glock's Safe Action® system. Additionally, Glock now offers the option of an improved factory-installed Ameriglo night sight, thus addressing the criticisms of its plastic factory sights.

The* Gen 5 Glock Thread: First Impressions, Reviews And Thoughts
Let's talk about the Glock 19 Gen 5. I'm already a fan of the Glock 19. When training new shooters, men or women, the Glock 19 is always one of the first two pistols I introduce them to. They just work. They are reliable and easy to shoot. The Glock 19 has an excellent balance of size, barrel length, magazine capacity, weight, trigger pull, and can still be concealed.
Could be better? Of course it will. This particular model is the Glock 19 Gen MOS. MOS stands for "Modular Optics System". For those looking to add a red dot optic to their Glock 19, this model offers the option with a removable plate located on the front of the rear sight. This allows the shooter to add different brands of red dot patterns to the gun.
I also have a Glock 19 Gen 4. Can I tell the difference between the two? The answer is yes.
Most of the upgrades from Gen 4 to 5 are not something most people will notice. However, this is not the case with trigger pull and trigger reset. When Glock released the new Slim Single Stack Glock 43 a few years ago, they came up with a new trigger system. For the size of the gun, it was very smooth and worked very well. It actually worked so well that Glock made that new trigger the system for all Gen 5 pistols. And for a pistol the size of the Glock 19 Gen 5, that made it even better.
Glock 19 Gen 5: A Little Bit More Perfection
Like most modern semi-auto pistols, the Glock 19 is easy to disassemble. However, a very rare criticism of Glocks involves their disassembly. The trigger must be pulled to remove the slide from the frame. As part of the slide removal process, before pulling the trigger, it is important to ensure that the rifle is safe and accurate and that there are no bullets in the chamber. Other than that, everything is very straightforward, with few parts to worry about. In fact, there are only four major components to cleaning and maintenance.
Of course, there are many more parts to the gun if you want to learn or dig a little more. Disassembly, modification, renewal, replacement, deep cleaning, etc. of these parts. However, this is optional.
With that in mind, one of the things that draws many shooters to Glock pistols is the ability to work with and upgrade them. There are many third-party products available for the pistol, especially the Glock 19 Gen 5. Any of these upgrades or aftermarket accessories can slightly degrade the pistol's performance or make it less ergonomic. In general, there are a lot of options, which is always a good thing!
Do I like shooting the Glock 19 Gen 5? Absolutely. For both the casual and average shooter, and the expert, competitive shooter, the Glock 19 is a great place to "be".
Glock 17 Gen 5 Review
It's a great tool and a great platform. It's convenient, it's important, and it's easy to use and use. Also, I find it to be very accurate, and an accurate gun out of the box is always a good thing. The rest, as always, is up to you.
If you've never shot or owned a Glock, this is the place to start. The Glock 19 Gen 5 does not disappoint. As they say, perfection is a process. And the Glock process works.

The Glock 19 Gen5 was developed in response to the FBI's changing firearms requirements. In 2016, Glock signed a contract with the FBI for this pistol. After signing the contract, they released Gen5 to the Nationals.
Compared to the Gen4, the Gen5 has an updated grip, barrel, slide, trigger, magazine, scope, and finish.
Overall, the Gen5 is a high quality instrument. It has excellent functional accuracy, large magazine capacity, compact size and high reliability. The design helps you hit the target with minimal damage.
Question: Is The 4th Generation Glock 19 The Best 9mm On The Market?
In designing the Gen5, Glock removed the finger grooves on the front strap to improve the comfort of the pistol. While not the most ergonomic, it does show an improvement over the Gen4.
This tool has four removable back straps. You can choose between medium and large sizes with or without a bow tie. These straps help hold the gun in hand.
The grip angle of the Glock 19 Gen5 helps with defensive encounters. While it lacks comfort, it makes up for it by providing plenty of leverage. You can put pressure on the front and back straps for better control while shooting.
The bottom of the grip has a blocky feel, but the rounded top prevents discomfort. Using a beaver tail increases the distance between the trigger and your hand, so you may want to experiment to get more access to the trigger. Checks

The magazine release on this shotgun is reversible, making it ambidextrous. It is not fluted like other Glock 19s, so you don't need to replace it right away.
The slide stops look the same on both sides of the gun. They have a smooth texture, so you have to practice your technique to get the slide down. Interesting places
